In the Champagne region, Pinot Meunier is known for its distinctive character. Its name means “miller” in French, as the grape’s surface is coated with a soft, powdery bloom that resembles flour. Champagne made from this variety isn’t showy or intense. Instead, it carries a tender texture, like the warmth of skin touched by light, balancing green grape acidity with a subtle, velvety roundness.

This very quality inspired our creation of Darjeeling First Flush Tea Fizz. We selected Darjeeling Moon Drop, a red tea celebrated for its muscat-grape aroma and silky white-down texture. Naturally fermented in the cool mist of the Himalayas, it develops a graceful acidity and a soft, blushing fragrance reminiscent of Pinot Meunier. Through precise carbonation and controlled oxidation, fine bubbles are woven into the tea, enhancing its structure and extending the life of each sparkle, like a Champagne that breathes with the rhythm of tea.
